Poway High School Titans Flag Football

Our Mission is to motivate and prepare our Student Athletes for Success and Excellence, while Instilling Poway High Schools Core Values of RIGOR - Respect, Integrity, Growth, Ownership, and Responsibility.

 We will have several opportunities to volunteer throughout the season. Be sure you are reading all email communication and look for the signup links!  

 The athletic clearance, including the physical completed by a doctor and Home Campus confirmation, are due before a Student Athlete is allowed to participate in any School sports function. You may not attend the first tryout on August 10 if your clearance is not complete. This is why we strongly urge you to complete this by June 7th- before the athletic office closes for the summer. 

 Visit the Poway High School website and click on the Athletics tab on the top. Next select the Athletic Clearance tab from the drop-down menu. This page will walk you through the athletic clearance process. You will find the required forms that must be printed and filled out at your child's physical and the link to complete the online athletic clearance on Home Campus. You will then need to bring in both your completed physical forms and athletic clearance confirmation into the Poway High School athletic office (before they close on June 7th) or before the first day of fall tryouts. 

 No, you do not need your athletic clearance for Spring, or Summer camps, clinics or workouts because they are not run by Poway High School Flag Football. You do need to fill out the Titan Flag Football waivers. Camps, Clinics, and Events outside of the High School Season are optional, and have nothing to do with the Official Team, Tryouts, or Placement on Teams.

 June  7th-14th and July 24th-31st, 2024 is the mandatory dead period. Coaches may not have any contact with players during this time as regulated by CIF.
